City getaway great for couples or friends
Amazing base location to explore the city. Steps to restaurants, attractions and Las Ramblas and about a 20 minute walk to Barceloneta. Great shower pressure at the end of a long day.
The couch could maybe be replaced with something more comfortable. Key pad entry to the unit would be great so you don't have to carry a key. The stairs are steep and uneven heights at some points so going up and down frequently and with luggage is challenging.

Choose another property.
The apartment is exactly as pictured in the interior. There are two full size washers and dryers on the very top floor, free to use. Location was good to most sites in the city.
We were in Apartment 3, which is 74 steps up from the street entry. If you are traveling with more than a back pack, and have any health issues, it is disastrous trying to haul up suitcases in a VERY narrow stairwell. Yes, the photos show stairs, it would have been nice to have full disclosure about how many there were. Also, the day before arrival you are expected to download an app to your smartphone to gain entry to the street door. I had difficulty with this and after much discussion with the owner, via Booking.com, I was advised that there was a keypad at the front door I could use. Why the need for the App? The owner states very clearly that he does not want it be bothered with renters. He is not available by email or WhatsApp. We spent 2 1/2 months in Spain, using booking.com properties, and always had open communication with the owners. I would not recommend this property.

Enjoyed my stay at Classbedroom
Amazing location in the city center, close to the shops and bars. The host was very fast answering my questions and the check-in process was easier then I though. Very good price for an apartment in the city center close to the beach.
